Yes, you can make popcorn on a Blackstone.
And once you try it, you might start wondering what else you can cook on that thing.
Most people think of a Blackstone for smashburgers, breakfast, cheesesteaks and fried rice. But one of my favorite things about griddle cooking is figuring out how to take something ordinary and do it the Daddio way.
Popcorn is a perfect example.
It’s quick, it’s fun, and it makes an awesome snack for movie night, game day, camping or just hanging out on the patio.

Plain butter and salt are great, but this is where you can really have some fun.
🧀 Parmesan Garlic
Melted butter, Parmesan and garlic seasoning.
🌶️ Buffalo
Butter, Buffalo seasoning and a little ranch seasoning.
🥓 Bacon Cheddar
Add crispy bacon and cheddar seasoning for a smoky, savory twist.
🍫 S’mores Popcorn
Try melted chocolate, mini marshmallows and crushed graham crackers.
🍿 Movie Theater Style
Butter, salt and a little extra butter.
Because apparently there’s no such thing as too much butter when you’re watching a movie.
Why Make Popcorn on a Blackstone?
Because you can.
And that’s honestly one of my favorite things about the Blackstone.
It’s not just a burger machine.
It’s a giant outdoor cooking surface that lets you experiment.
Breakfast? Yep.
Lunch? Absolutely.
Dinner? All day.
Dessert? We’ve done it.
Popcorn? Damn right.
And when you get the family outside watching that first batch start popping, it turns a simple snack into an experience.
That’s what outdoor cooking is all about.
Final Thoughts
If you’ve got a Blackstone sitting on your patio, don’t be afraid to think outside the box.
Try something different.
Take something you’ve made a hundred times in the kitchen and see what happens when you bring it outside.
Because around here, we’re always looking for the next thing we can throw on the griddle.
Fire. Flavor. Family.
That’s the Daddio way.
And apparently…
POP. POP. POP.
That’s the Blackstone way too.
